Lost Racing Pigeons

I’ve seen this bird for a few weeks now. Lovely light coloured blue checker wouldn’t mind acquiring it as all my blues are quite dark. What to do with lost racers? I’ve always thought of them as lost forever as the two racing blokes that I know both say they’d not want any bird returned and if it was, they’d put it in the bucket. So, what to do…

Strays should always be reported, reputable flyers usually want their birds back, but they may be happy for it to go to a new owner.

Totally agree Adam. There are some unpleasant videos on YouTube regard the, hopefully, few racing blokes and their intolerance of short comings in their birds.
I wonder what the law is regarding attempting to catch lost birds which are in the middle of towns and parks surrounded by the general public who may not be enlightened.
